Vinyasa with Emily

Mondays 1pm – 2.15pm

This Vinyasa Flow class will bring you balance, energy, calm and strength to the mind and body as we synchronise movement and breath.

Each week the class will bring you something a little bit different with varying asanas (yoga poses) and an option to practice pranayama (breathing techniques) if you wish.

Emily has done a 200 hour multi style YTT at an Indian school, thus channels traditional teachings through to her classes with a modern take.

All levels and ages are welcome, variations and modifications are provided; so bring yourself, a mat and any props you feel you may need and you’ll be welcomed in with open arms.

1 x class = £8

5 x classes = £6.50 (£32.50)

Discover how even a short session of self-Shiatsu strengthens and energises your body and your Yoga practice. We will move through a slow flow into stronger standing asanas then make our way back down to the mat for the more restorative part of the session. The choice of asanas will relate to specific meridians, drawing inspiration from the season we’re in, helping you to feel calm, grounded, energised and more in tune with yourself.

About Steph:

I completed the 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training Course with wonderful teachers Annie Cryar and Zowie Martin at Shiatsu College Hastings in 2018 and with their support was teaching my first class a short time later.

The 200 hour course was such a life enhancing experience that I chose to study for a further 300 hours.

I had already qualified as a shiatsu practitioner in 2014 and have had a successful shiatsu practice since then.

I now specialise in Meridian Yoga, a fusion of shiatsu theory and yoga. This gives an enhanced repertoire of energy pathways in the body, and a deep understanding of how to optimise this knowledge both in shiatsu and yoga practice.

I feel privileged that yoga and shiatsu are part of my life, and privileged to share them with others. Working with energy is the ultimate in connecting you to your true state of being; staying present and appreciating this moment now

Morning Flow with Karen

A slow meditative flow to wake up your body, calm the mind and set the tone for your week.

Yoga Over 60 with Zowie

Yoga over 60 is a gentle class thinking specifically about working with age related concerns.
Aiming to maintain mobility and counter loss of flexibility, strength and balance while considering and modifying for conditions such as arthritis. In this class we think a lot about how we need to be able to use our bodies in our everyday life  and how yoga practise might help that rather than “achieving asana”
This is a friendly, relaxed, informal class
