Traditional Tantra Kundalini Yoga is very different to the modern yoga we find all over the West. This is a Yoga of Awareness and learning ‘the art of letting go’. A practice where you become fully present in order to enquire within and connect with your true self. Understanding, accepting and releasing what is there to be released and allowing positive energy to flow freely in the body. This is your sanctuary from the busy world and the racing mind.
Using traditional Tantra Kundalini techniques of breath, chakra energy, asanas, bandas, mantras, music, vibrations and visualisations to surrender and re-connect with our feminine kundalini energy*. (*not to be confused with male/female, this is a practice that benefits all sexes)
I will guide you but this is a practice where you are the driver. Tapping in to all your senses. The more present you are, the more you will discover and benefit. By looking inwards we discover our true nature and only by living this true nature can we be free and find our bliss.
We will work a lot with the gaps in between the practices as that is where the magic is. Finding soothing and sanctuary in the silence…
This practice is suitable for everyone, no previous yoga required, just an open mind and heart.
The studio has beautiful views of the sea and sunrise if we are lucky! More instructions will be sent upon booking.
